The day started off with round 2 of Drop-Knee; 4 foot waves, offshore winds and a higher tide led to great DK waves! Due to the outgoing tide, the call was made to run the quarter finals

today the contest moved from Lucien to Uvongo to take advantage of 5-6 foot offshore conditions. The second round of the Pro division was up first, enjoying the favourable conditions. High risk manoeuvres were the order of the morning with Terence Pieters

The second day of SA Champs started off with the Drop-Knee divisions, followed by the Grand Masters and Ladies heats. Sadly conditions deteriorated with the low tide and the event was called off until 1pm when the waves improved with the incoming tide
