Jared Houston arrived earlier in Arica to familiarise himself more with the left of El Gringo. He scored some great freesurfing waves but unfortunately his time on the left didnt pay off for his heats and Jared didnt make it through to the last day of competition. Although it was one of his most devastating losses so far he is super keen to get really fit and prepare himself mentally for the next event in Mexico.
