Hey Guys!
I went down today at the hands of a spanish ripper, Diego Cabrera and a Brazillian Herman Castro. This means I walk away with a joint 17th and 300USD prize money from the Buzios Pro 2010.
There isn't much to say about that heat, Diego and Hermano found the sets, while I was trying to link up the inside runners. Rookie mistake that I am not likely too make again. Everyone surfed well though and it was one of those heats you walk away from knowing you couldn't have done much more. Content.
There are still 2 more events in the South American leg, one of which is a Grand Slam at Arica in Chile (pumped!) and another regional at a Gas chambers like Beachy called Chilca in Peru. Hopefully I can win both of those :P
McCarthy smashed his heat today and that made up for me getting knocked by a mile. Mark is such a good loser, so seeing him do well is always that much sweeter. He is up tommorow in the 2nd heat of Round 6. Be sure to tune in to that, I'll be down on the beach and you guys can be behind your computers, either way it's Saffa support and that's what counts!
