Venue: Millers Point

The Bodyboarding Camp will be situated between Simons Town and the Cape Point Nature reserve at a secluded holiday village known as Millers Point. Due to Millers Point being a prime spot in the Southern Peninsular it is the perfect venue which will allow us to explore many surf breaks such as Noordhoek, Kommetjie, Scarborough and Cape Point Nature reserve. There by ultimately fulfilling our goal of searching for the perfect wave.

In order to search for the perfect wave we will have to take a few factors into consideration such as tides, winds and swell directions. The only way in which to decide on the perfect break would be to study the weather conditions, swell maps and knowledge of more experienced riders.

Once we are satisfied that the perfect break has been found we will conclude our day recapping the days experiences, and plan the next day over a well prepared meal.

On the last day a competition will be held for the best move and thanks to Reef, Science and Sport Unlimited there will be lots of prizes and give aways!

OTHER ACTIVITIES:
- Cricket
- Soccer
- DVD analysis
- Hacki sack
- Board games (30 seconds)

BREAKS THAT COULD BE PERFECT:
- The Hoek
- Black rocks
- Long beach
- Witsands
- Misty cliffs
- Scarborough bowl
- Dias beach
- Plattboom

The aim of the camp is to improve your riding skill by surfing different types of breaks, and to help you gain experience and knowledge when surfing reef, shore and beach breaks.

Ya guys, well done. Sounds like you're organising a rad camp. One of my fondest memories when i was in school was going on a surf camp to Gonubie in Eastern Cape with Son Surf, it was so cool. Surfed spots on the coast travelling up and travelling back, scored waves all week and ended with a Son Surf contest.

Next step for you guys is to do your camps off the beaten track somewhere where you can camp in front of the surf and not worry about hurting any feelings when you bring a crowd of 15 spongers in a combi... haha.
Keep up the stoke.
