Own your own centrefold spread from SA Champs

Have you ever wanted to have a professional photographer on hand to capture that sick invert or the best barrel you’ve ridden?

Well the wait is over for those participating at the 21st annual South African Bodyboarding Championships, due to take place in Plettenberg Bay from the 24th of September.

Prominant photographer, Michel Dei-Cont has been called in and will be on the beach daily to catch you at your best. The majority of those reading this already know about Mike’s abilities behind the lens and it comes as no surprise to find out that SABA will be using him to cover the event.

The Wedge, which will be the venue for this years S.A Champs is one of the best waves in South Africa and with its warping peaks, hollow pits and launch ramp sections it is the ideal location for a photographer of Mike’s ability to capture unbelievable images.

Potential customers will be able to view photos at Surf Café in the evening after the days competition is complete. We are looking at starting a slideshow at about 20:00 each evening, during which buyers can place orders.

Image size will be 32cm x 21cm, will be burnt in a JPEG format and will be supplied on a CD in a plain sleeve. Prints might be available on request, but we are still looking for a business in Plett that does prints and costs still need to be calculated.

Individual photo’s will be supplied on CD for R30 each, there will be discount given for sequence shot purchases and to customers who buy 5 or more photo’s.

We are currently running with the plan that images will be ordered, reference numbers given to customers and images burnt to disc overnight, ready for collection the following day.

If Mike snaps you in shot that he feels might be worth keeping for use in media (newspapers, magazines etc…) we will work out a deal whereby you will receive your photo once it has been used in the media. Not bad really, considering that you might get your mug in the sports section of a local newspaper or in the sixty40 mag!

So if you are keen on adding a memory from S.A Champs to your family album, slapping the print up on your wall or adding it to your sponsorship portfolio, get in touch with me at:- [email protected]

Or come and chat to either myself or Mike on the beach.

See you there!
