Ben Gohl takes out The Nomad Brett Young Memorial Trials

The Nomad Brett Young Memorial Trials , part of The Human Cronulla Shark Island Challenge - The first event on the IBA World Men's Tour for 2007 has been won by Australian Ben Gohl in solid 4 - 6ft conditions out Cronulla Point.
Gohl who comes from New South Wales (NSW) took out the trials event dedicated to Cronulla legend Brett Young. A field of 90 competitors battled there way through 5 rounds in hope of reaching the Quarter finals.
Gohl and 11 others now gain automatic entry into the main draw of The Human Cronulla Shark Island Challenge when the waiting period for the main event starts on the 15th of June.
With all new fresh faces this years challenge looks set to be one of the most exciting to date.
The Final saw Ben Gohl, Toby Player, Laury Grenier and Sam Bennett in that order.
The trialist to progress into the main event goes as follows

The Human Cronulla Shark Island Challenge waiting period commences on the 15th of June. All riders and officials will be attending a briefing night on the 14th.
The Human Cronulla Shark Island Challenge is Australia's most prestigious bodyboarding event sponsored by Human. The location is Australia's most premier bodyboarding location, Shark Island, known for its big barrels and heavy wipe outs.
