    To whom it may concern:

Pi Bodyboards will not be involved in any sponsoring of any events( Sports unlimited cape classic) what so ever in the month of march. We apologise for any inconveniance caused by our recent posts concerning the up and coming event to be held at camps bay , 17 march.

A misunderstanding in communication has lead to the curent situation at hand, and we just want to set the record straight that we did not intend to offend any rival sponsor companies, event sponsors, provincial unions, or organizers.

    Please accept our full apologies.

Good luck to those of you riding the cape classic on the 17th.

There has been a conflict of interest with regards to Pi's involvement in the Cape Classic and they have consequently withdrawn,
The WPBA would like to apologise to the respective parties involved for this misunderstanding.

they cant discuss the conflict cos then there will be more of a conflict. Lets just assume that the Cape classic already has a major board sponsor onboard and they threw their toys.

i am involved with the cape classic with science boards and because i was out of the country for the most of feb, a misunderstanding came out and the guys from PI offered to be involved in the cape classic. because of marketing and money involvement, two companies of the same product can not be involved in the same event.

Allan and Deon, I see as friends and we came to a decision. I do congratulate Alan for the way that he handeled the situation. we do respect each other and in future give each other the space to do our own marketing without trying to grid each other. Alan and Deon have a lot to offer the bodyboarding market an are really great guys. In bodyboarding we are family anyway. thanks guys!
