Well..im back in the Volcano islands..this time with Byron Loubser..
we arrived today and were greeted with some super clean lined up swell..small, but we had a reef to ourselves at about 2-3ft.. tomorrow we hitting up some of the other juicy reefs...should be real good cause the winds are super straight offshore and light...
well..the swell hasnt dropped below the 4-6ft mark for 4 days now... byron and myself found a wave that is super sick with a crazy wraping bowl...pretty damn sick. Have had it 2 days in a row with just us out scoring it around 6ft...
looks like the swell jacks quite solid over the next week, so will let you know what goes down..

Hey Bru, glad you are getting some sick bombs... wow I can't believe that you have been scoring such fun uncrowded waves, with none of the usual heavy local vibes. I hope that you guys get to score that mad A-frame reef on the next big swell and that you both represent strongly. Back home Mark Clarke took the weekly poker game, and Jody almost got run over by some stupidass in green point last night... but she managed to jump out of the cars way at the last second.... she is fine (albiet a bit shaken) and misses you. Byron, sorry no news of home for you just yet, but I am sure I will be able to tell you somthing after the bell on friday night. Take care, get lots of footage, and go big

yo adam!!! so sick to hear from u my buddy....we must def party it up...
peter!!...your damn zoom control switch is soooo annoying....can hardly film...it keeps zooming out without me doing anything..any advice, throw it off the cliff? we still trying...
muggy...we hope to get some good footage..its tricky tho but we getting some sick photos, but we still have just under a month....
swell is crazy solid 2day...tomorrow we hitting the A-framing reef...so will let you know what happens...

Ahoy Byron and Ian... Sick to hear you guys are getting waves. Ian what you can do if that zoom controol is giving you issues is just to disable it in the menu, and just use the zoom controol on the handle... Not ideal, but It should tie you over untill you get back! Allegedly Rory is going to be there is just under 2 weeks. Take care!!! Peter

hi all..
thanks peter for the advice...ill see if that helps...today we surfed that crazy A-frame wedge reef...all to ourself at about 5-6ft...offshore and super good, damn heavy..byron got abit cut up but its all part of the process...about a week back we met up with an Aussie( joel) and an american (jeff winter) they got a car so have been cruizing with them everywhere. they`ve been taking some shots so have got some mad crazy pics...cant post any cause we cant resize them....anyway..
swell and wind looks mad good again for the reef so should get some good ones..

How was your flights and all that stuff? What dvd's did you watch on ur little portable? We have been having some good hoek, but its the usual-swollen feet after the surf...damn its so uncomfortable hey!
The summer has only really started now with the SE winds, so when you get back should be some goooood waves around! What other news you got from Volcano? tell Byron I say Watsup. Have a awsome rest of a stay man. Check you when you get back though. Will keep in touch tho on myspace and Sixty40 etc...
