new bodyboard - advice?

i am riding a 1-2 year old rossi ultima at the moment. it has become very waterlogged and after 30 mins in the water it becomes rather heavy.

this sorry state of affairs has been managable as i was in matric this year and didn't surf much. however i finish exams on friday and am planning to return to my ways of old (ie surfing 3 times a week). this necessitates a new board!

i live in cape town (cold water) and enjoy riding powerful waves. i used to be able to boost a little but have never been an acrobat (ie no air revos or backflips as of yet). i love getting tubed. DK is not a forte either.

i would really like to buy a BZ hub (i rode one once and it was RAD) but they seem a bit expensive (yes even on F7!). can anyone suggest a board? preferably DURABLE as with the best care in the world my rossi delaminated after 2-3 mnths!

    thanks all

    kimon

Hey Bru... if you want to try out a 42" Science I can lend you a brand new one to try out... the only condition would be that if you get one you get it trough factory7 and comment me in under the "referd by" section... thay way LOF-2 gets some financing courtesy of you buying from F7. Let me know if ya keen to try the board 083 313 6106 / [email protected]

Yeah, my Rossi (custom made) also seems to have become a bit waterlogged for some reason :x

I tried out my friends BZ Toby Player, now thats an awesome board. Wouldn't mind getting the same dimesions on that one through a custom ATD....

    hey Kimon

all the advice seems sorted but if you havnt picked a board yet ive got a science fusion42. still brand new in its original plastic. its a prone board with a bat tail( depends on your preference) and a red close cell deck. I want R650 for it and i can probably get it to you aswell.

I got an MS8 (Pretty dam good as no rash on the deck and it really busts) also have a ADT Speed Merchant a LMNOP Skipp Pro and a Manta Eppo Air.....the Skipp also is an amazing board...bought it through Factory 7...they have GREAT service!!!!!!!!!!!

All in all.....Eppo hs always been a GRAT Board
Skipp is also a great all-rounder DK and Prone
Science MS8 - very quick and has loads of pop...u really take flight with this guy!
ADT....also very quick and u can really get some great airs out on this board..DZ also works pretty well!
