Just wanted to hear all your opinions on the new decision to use 2 waves counting in events instead of the usual 3. I myself think this is the only way forward, you cut out the grovelling from the events and that as we all know is not what BB is about!
Is this something SABA has already introduced this year?
This gets my vote!!! Riders can afford to go for the big moves and not risk being knocked out by a groveller.

I agree this "spin to win" rubbish needs to be removed. But then again contest need to be held in waves that are conclusive to big moves in turn making the sport more spectator friendly, generating more interest among the masses... I would rather watch (and photograph) some dude attemept a huge ARS of a closeout than somene doing 1000000 forward spins on a wave that 'flat and slow'
I hope the 2wave system now encourages proper bodyboarding
