OK guys - well, would have been good to join the South Coast/Cape Town crew on this trip but sorry for me ... no can do.
So I posted a few shots from my point and shoot camera of a trip of mine back in the days ... not the greatest shots but it was a good trip for waves.
Graveyards (not really a popular spot):

Los Lobos:

Best advice I can give ... there's sometimes a bit of wind around but keep an eye on it because it can drop off all of a sudden and the surf will start smoking. If its maxing - then head to Los Lobos, if it's big enough then Los Lobos will still be size but it is quite sheltered. It is also sheltered from a lot of wind by the volcano (the wave wraps around an old volcano) and think about camping on the island (uninhabited) overnight so you can get it before and after the crowds arrive on the ferry.
