Hey all.

sheesh..again we were up at 5:30, checking on the surf conditions at Kalk Bay.
A light onshore was blowing but nothing to mess it up.. It was around 2-3ft
with the odd solid 4ft sets breaking on a very low tide..making the waves have a few solid "staircase's" to negotiate on the drop.. The call was made not to run the contest today...
With most of the riders going up to SA's this comming week, the contest will be on hold till the riders return...

more swell updates and stuff to come...

lag a epic swell comes then and everyone misses it..... as chappy says, murphy is out there... waiting!

looks like waves on saturday, personally i am gonna give it a skip this weekend, heading off to the mountains with my new fiance for a little RnR and a spot of mountain biking.

I have heard that there is going to be some sick surf hitting this weekend, with the cold front pushing it up the coast. All the guys will probably be at SA's but atleast it might make for some seriously sick conditions for the compo.
