Cartel Boards - Good/Bad???

Hi All

I have my eye set on buying a Cartel 5 star at the end of the month. Has anyone riden one or any cartel board for that matter, The board looks good and seems strong but Ive personally never ridden a cartel or know of anyone that owns won so am a bit sceptical. Can someone please give some feedback on how they perform, am a making a good decision here?

I bought 2 boards an Elemenopee and a Cartel. Cartel make sweet boards but I found in the chilly West coast water it was a bit too stiff. Exact same construction ect as the Elemenopee boards. I now ride the Skippy cresent tail and found that once I landed a ramp or two and worked the core a bit with the DK bottom turns, it is now SUPER fast and responsive. Where as before hitting chop was like hitting a brick wall!
