If one was to organise a mini tour and travel the S.A. coast what time of the year and which spots do you'll recommend?
Now we are talking about consistant bodyboarding breaks that truely represent what we are after day-in and day-out.

From the west to the east, autum must be quite good. Not sure :D

Ha that fliping nigerian sooo funny! :D

I'd defintely say autumn to winter...
South Africa is really consistent compared to the rest of the world anyway,
I'm thinking of a Zag article on that circa 2000/2001 ish which pretty much showed we get waves most of the year. You'd be fine if you met up with even a few locals along the way and in the real scheme of things you should be able to organise to stay with people for free or cheap as long as you're willing to put up with them if they're ever down your way... I'd offer if I had the space or my own place...

I'd also say you shouldn't try and do it to a strict itinerary, you should leave yourself open to back track a bit if you hear about sudden swells and guys wanna mission around a bit to score, it could be really ill, I'd say a month or maybe a bit more would be ample...

Speak to cats in different areas along the coast and we're all spongers so guys should be friendly enough...
