When we load the results they are indeed loaded against your profile.
With a change in personnel at SABA the rankings calculations has been handed over and once the procedures are in place, I understand that it will be a quicker and easier task so we should get them up soon after each contest.
Part of the delay is my fault as I sent it back saying it was not good enough - in order to load the results we need full names and the spelling of rider's names to be perfect so they are going through and sorting it out at the moment. There are historic spelling errors and also incomplete names submitted from the latest contest so SABA is having to sort out errors which have been past on.
Just to explain, if your result was submitted as Nathan Woods instead of Nathan Wood then a new profile would be created for a Nathan Woods with the result being recorded against this incorrect name. Our ratings which we hold would also potentially be wrong because instead of one person with two contest results for the year we would end up with two persons each with one result, both lying lower down the rankings than you should be listed - and then the whole headache of merging the records needs to be done to sort it out.
I put quite a bit of time into developing the rankings which are actually dynamically calculated each time you visit - just means that it is low maintenance going forward and just needs a list of results to be loaded, with manual calculations required. Only requirement is that spelling is sorted out and SABA are being very accommodating and sorting this out for us so that going forward we can provide you with a better service.
