Yo whats up everyone..
just been chatting with some friends here in London about people discovering a fairly new break on the South Coast and calling it Kongs... well yeah dont know about the name as its pretty lame for the spot and has nothing to do with it really...
But yea charge it guys! Sick spot and lets not get it crowded like other South Coast spots!!
Oh its not a new spot really as have been riding it from around 1997 or so with another Amazimtoti friend. Was pretty much first surfed by us that we have even know as basically used to live right on the spot. Its sick cause it wont shift or ever go really as its not sand bar. Also some sicker spots around there - Sick break just there.. just look for the rock that looks like a peace sign (two fingers straight up)...loads of sick spots around there that people dont know of or havent surfed. Might be back around mid year and doing some work with some guys on them for photos etc..
For those that ride it and worked out where it is, wait for big ground swells to move through and hit it when its around the 6-8ft region! You will surprised at its potential (almost died there) and the point gets really sick at about 8ft plus just to the right of it...
Stuck a picture in my profile pictures and will see a mental right! Oh PS watch out for sharks and rips... the 2 things that will get you out the water there.
