Marc Jago form Hermanus seroisly owns drop knee.... Could eeeezeeelllyyy be SA champ this year, we manajed to get him to surf for boland this year. This guy is honestly world class material..

Hi Simon,
other than the ovious guys (yourself, Spex, Vaughn, Sacha T, Sean T, etc..) You should realy check Chris Bosman (Bushy) from Plett, he is one of the explosive DK riders I have seen. CT Crew are also raising the bar a bit.

Well there is always logics wesly macquillan otherwize known as Mike Quillinan, the absolute King of Kalk Bay, old schoolers are represented by frank stolburg, schmo grant has been busting and hankuses brother euverard is an absolute wizard on the knee (did a DK air over me at llands a few weeks back - ok didnt land it but it looked so sick)
I am sure if you look you will find, i see lank dudes ripping all the time. Pity you have to compete to get recognition, wish we could employ the surfers vibe, like billabong have with dave rastavishc and you get sponsered for being naturally talented. one day kids..... one day, oh yes, she will be mine.

Up here in Durbs there's Sean Tickner who's too nuts, he'll get up on almost anything (He had a spot in the LOGIC just a while ago) with crazy style and skill and Chris Green is also really good, always going big trying gnarly shit with no fear....

STMarch 2006ray kean for sure,,couple of the crew from north beach but i dont know names,,i'll get them for ya.i know theres a guy called donald,he charges i have seen him in some crazy surf,,ummm,,,there are a few guys on da bluff that shred,,i know FRANK from j-bay rips hard he was like one of my heroes from da bluff,,the groms are rippng on da knee too, i have seen ian campbell throwing some style down,,umm warren cannepa rips too, theres mervin peerman,kevin brother,hes cool and he rips dk,,i'll find a couple more names,,,do you want me to tell them to get hold of you??or do ya jus wanna know??peace cuz!!!

i Agree with Peter (I surf with Bushy / Chris Bosman) every day. He really rips. Check some of his images on the site. I will get him to post some more on the site soon. He is one of the only guys i know who does dk airs fairly regularly.

Joe Robinson and Gerrit Hurter are ous from Mossel bay who RIPP it up every time they`re in the water. and they don`t get 2 surf everyday cause they`re working in London, and after not surfing for months they come back to M-Bay and look as if they`ve been surfing every single day of the year...

Hey it is good to see and hear there is so much talent developing out there along the South African coast line.
Chris Bosman air shot at the Wedge is sick! All I wanna say is when other people start talking about you ripping, you must rip but when you have shots like that it backs there comments up.
Driaan Cloote from Zululand, Andre Maria rips and Rhiande Du toit(sorry about the spelling) they all rip from up North.
Well wish I was still bb everyday, I love dk it's the best. Back dooring North Beach 8ft second peak from first peak was one of my sickest dk memory and solid Pipe backside in 2000/2001. Must say that I was proud of the Saffas at Keiki in Hawaii in Dec 2005, I could see how much I have back slid due to not bb that much anymore. Warren Bain, Ivan Friendman, Mark ..... and VJ, Brandon where charging.
Wish SA bb's where ripping all over the world on sick days to let the rest of the bb world know that there is still lots of talent in Deepest Darkest Africa.
It is good to have Ross McBride back in SA.
All the best, there still lots of DK underground rippers and your riding will earn you the most respect where ever you ride.
So what I saying is always let your riding open doors for you at spots other than your local spot.
