    Watzup guys,

For those of you who celebrate christmas, hope it was a good one and good luck to all of yous in the new year.
Me and my mate were looking for some waves on a flat day so we decided to paddle out at outer kom and we were having a good time until these guys just kept on dropping in on us for fun and then laughing. I don't have any idea why they were doing it but i just left it for the time being, then after all my waves were interupted by these local dudes i eventually snapped and told the dude if he does it again he would get the crap beaten out of him (which was probly the wrong thing to say), but they just provoked me and I was so iritated that I said to a different guy he would get hurt if he caried on. After they all got out the water one by one in 5 minute intervals the whole crew and about three more guys came onto the rocks with sticks and tried to call us in to kill us. We knew what was happening but just tried to keep oursselves out of trouble.
Eventually the guys left and we ran out the water (shitting in our wetsuits, we dived into the bakkie and went to mc donalds).

The point i am trying to make here is we were just trying to have fun and the locals took it overboard. I know how you must respect the locals but they were doing it on purpose.

    Please voice your opinions.

    Respect to'ull. Later

I understand how u feel buddy, but maybe swearing at them wasn.t the best idea! anyway, People who fuck up other people's surfs are stupid and selfish, they shouldn't be in the water first of all and secondly they are spoiling the essance of what surfing actually is.. People like them dont deserve to surf.. Hopefully you'll come right and keep on getting waves buddy.. peace out

Well I fell the same quite a shit one. But always remember...

Don't be like those people...And respect the locals. I don't like it when people come and surf at my home brake if they just mess a round or inside paddle and taking over.So be aware and have fun. Respect locals becuase I respect them If i go and surf their spots...

    Enjoy the surf...

    Yo,wotsup guys and gals

I agree that one should respect the locals, but respect comes from both sides people. They shouldnt drop in any1's waves in the first place.once or twice is ok,with an apology ofcourse :D The ocean doesnt belong to any one person or group,it belongs to every1,

So wots up with the whole BABYLON buzz in the water?
Keep it real boys,we all r one Bodyboarding FAmily.

    Howzit kids…

Ok here is one for the message board. As anyone who lives in CT knows the wind has been howling for like 3 weeks solid and the waves have been shitty, save for a few sessions at Llandudno. Anyways as a result I have been hitting the onshore in the False Bay allot recently. Last week Pat G and I were chilling on the right of dangers. The Waves weren’t epic but it was the best we had seen in a long time. A few dudes were in the water ( including an irish surfer on a fish and a Scotsman) with us and it was happy days all round, till this bald headed twat on a blue booger paddled out (anyone know him, cos we don’t)
Anyways he proceeded to paddle straight to the inside and called everyone off, we let this slide for a couple of waves but when he attempted this on me for the 3rd time ( I had waited through two sets so that everyone could get a wave) I dropped in on him, he proceeded to try grab my legs and tackle me on the wave. Wanker!

Anyways his argument is this, he is on the inside and its his wave, no matter if he has just paddled back from a set and has paddled past everyone in the line up. He says that’s how it works in contests and that’s just how it is, we should hassle him for the inside if we want a wave. Sounds pretty shitty doesn’t it. Anyways he managed to piss the entire line up off and soon his surfer buddy paddled over (in his buddies defence) and tried to take Pat G to the beach for a fight… hahhahah reason being baldy, right after I had words with him, paddled right back to the inside and told pat the next wave will be his…. Shocked!!!! So Pat tuned him to leave the water.

My point is this… we are locals, we don’t care if the wave is 2ft or 10ft, we share and share alike, everyone was getting waves, there was a solid rotation going on.. MR baldy, yup he is one of those baldies that has no hair, no eye brows, no beard and no top hair, no pubes either I suppose…… you must learn respect, learn how things work here in CT, not every session is a contest, contest rules only apply to contest riders in a contest situation and contest riders make up maybe 5% of the total bodyboarding population. I couldn’t care less for the contest scene or who is number 1, means absolutely nothing to me at the end of the day. Our breaks are crowded enough as is, we don’t need agro cunts like you pulling in and causing shit.

We all went to the beach btw to sort out this issue, but when these two kooks saw the size of Pat and the whole beach standing up (local surfers and boogers) they ran off with their tail between their legs and went and make kuk at small, onshore high tide kalk bay.

Bodyboarder like this guy give our sport a bad name, personally is skim anyone who comes across these dudes shouldn’t give them the time of day and zero waves.
Respect breed respect, I have more respect for that 10yr old that was out with us than you MR BALD BLUE BOARD BOOGER

hey totally agree with what they are doing is wrong and its not going to get them anywhere in bodyboarding! They are from South Africa and should know the rules of the surf without question!

You should check out S.America where there are no rules in the water and guys will just drop in on you and if you try chirp them back they will wait till you get out the water and then kill you and take your stuff! Hectic in some places, but those CT guys need to show respect and they will be respected!

If you fight them you are just going to drop yourself to there levels and be the same as them. They will get what they deserve in the end ;)

Yea im staying with Donovan and Dan at the moment on the North Shore. Just sent a quick article on how the guys are doing. It should be up hopefully by the next day. But for now they were both knocked out mainly the reason poor conditions but they are still stoked!

D-U-R-B-A-N B-L-U-F-F! Haha na I'm kidding, I didn't get it bad when I was there. But apparently it used to be pretty hardcore.like the wave smashing you against 1ft deep rocks wasn't enough. U even get "welcomed" with big writting on the walls :D

I think localism is just(sometimes a harsh way) to keep outsiders in line. But yeah, does get outa hand...

I say, find your own shark island. Call it "chicken 'n cheese" and surf that every day :)
