    Hi Guys,

Just want some feedback on good travel bags, been reading a lot and wanted to know from the guys who do a lot of travelling but mainly air travel. What kind of Bags do you use? and how do you rate them?

Im looking to buy a good travel bag that has excellent padding and can hold about 2 boards.

Any feedback/recommendations would be much appreciated.

Maybe admin can run an article on this?

    Thanks

    Jah

    Howdy,

I used an Island Style board bag(shiny silver color, looks like tinfoil) when I went across to Indo last year. Fitted 2 boards,2 pairs fins, booties, snorkel/goggles and 2 towels.

Pretty much the cheapest board bag available, was super uncomfortable to carry for long distances ie. through Kuta, but it did the job and returned in one piece.

Just depends on your budget, either cheap an nasty or comfortable an expensive. Wouldve been cool to find something in-between tho...

Cant remember how mush it cost, was ridiculously cheap tho.

    Hope that helps.

We should be getting some decent bodyboard bags in at http://www.factory7.co.za within the next few weeks from Island Style. They have always made some good covers at decent prices which provide the protection you need for throwing your boards on the plane.

You can take a look at some of the covers at http://www.islandstyle.co.za.

If you're still in the UK, then try Rhino boardbags ... I had quad of theirs for years. You can pick them up from various stores but try http://www.bodyboardhq.co.uk/html/newsh ... DBAGS.html

I would give them a call though to check what straps the bag carries. Mine had backpack style straps but no shoulder strap which makes it a bit difficult when you're carrying a backpack around too.
