  Can anyone explain what happened to the BIG corporate sponsorship S.A Champs was supposed to have???
  I think RIP CURL deserves to be congratulated for stepping up to the plate at such late notice and supporting Bodyboarding!

  Yeah dude i totally agree with you, but rip curl actually have been supporting bb for a little bit now...

  The big corporate sponsor that we would have had for SA Champs and the circuit renaged on their promise at the last minute in late August. Thank goodness there are companies such as Ripcurl and people like Mike Larmont that are prepared to give Bodyboarding a chance to show that we deserve the kind of generous sponsorship that he gave. I reckon that this SA champs had the best and most valuable prizes ever. Thanks to Ripcurl, Rossi, Arnette, USN, Cyphins and also to all those behind the scenes like sixty40 who provided the excellent media coverage and reporting, The convenors and organisors of the event and the competitors.

  i am curious, who was the big corperate sponser and should we carry on supporting this particualr company (if it is a company related to bodyboarding that is) Or am i being rude by asking?
  Skim i am gonna have a look at a new ripcurl wetsuit just because....

  you are most certainly not being rude - the Corporate sponsor was Maui and Sons - Ripcurl wetsuits are great and in the near future Ripcurl will be offering a 15% discount on all merchandise in their shops to all SABA members.

  i completely agree with you guys,ripcurl are legends,though as for the wetsuits i will definitly still b supportin reef,done far more..as for clothes,watches and accsories,lets show our support to ripcurl guys..
  oh and thanks sally for all you do,im sure everyone really appreciates it!!!!!!!!!

  actually still waiting for the Thurmoskin range to arrive from south america, hope it gets here soon cos my zero is damn near dead and summer is upon us, the upwelling will unleash the season of ice cream headaches, cant wait......
