Shot bru! Telecommunication lines were quite congested this morning so the fact that no-one could get hold of a few of us for a few hours seemed to have caused a bit of a panic back home.

I haven't heard of anyone involved so let's hope that stays the case. Was on a mainline train this morning just after it all started so thankfully wasn't on the tube yet and just had to walk 45 minutes into work - a bit puzzled with the number of cops and ambulances screaming around as we were initially told it was a power surge, so took quite a while before we found out what was happening.

At work at the moment, probably leave a bit early as it looks like the same mission to get back to Waterloo.

At least I'm walking! Thoughts are with those who were involved in any of this senseless bombing.

A little bit surreal as everyone is just watching webcasts or TVs, pretty much as if it was happening elsewhere and are more bothered about how to get home. However, stepped out for lunch and the streets are almost deserted and you get the feeling that although nothing is being said, people are a little weary about getting on public transport today.

Lets hope that's the end of it, that they manage to find those behind it and that this doesn't distract the guys at the G8 from doing what they set out in their agenda.
