Hi All,

Just arrived in Singapore, indo is just 6 hours away... it is so madly hot and humid here, nothing prepares you for it and I am dying of heat exaustion, and can't wait to get into the water.... I checkd my mail and sacha spex got padang yesterday at 6 feet , and a decent bigger swell is arriving day after tomorrow... I will keep you all posted!

Arrived in Kuta after not sleeping for about 30 hours... we where all sorted by three in the afternoon and wanted to get some waves close by. Ross Painter sugested Kuta Reef, so we took a small boat about the distance from wireless road to sunsets out to sea to find a kind of long beach but bigger and longer kind of a wave... the tide was really high so she was a bit pap to start with and there where about 30 guys on it... there was a peak a bit deeper that had only three guys on it so I paddled over and ended up getting one of my best sessions in ages. As the tide droped the waves got hollower and longer, this is just a madly fun wave to surf. Basically its an easy take off, that gets faster and faster, and then just when you think it cant get any better she just puts a nice predictable section in front of you to lauch off... my airs are improving slowly.... The culture is mad, there are motorbikes everywhere and there the currency is worth next to nothing. I changed 2000 US Dollars into the the local currency, and it came to 1.8 Million Rupees.... nice to be a millionaire, if even for a day. The water is so warm, and it is just amazing not to have to be coated in neoprene. Tomorrow we are hiring two cars and going to go and have a look at Padang or Uluwatu.
Does anyone have an update on the bayview event... Whats happening?!!!

bayviw neva ran yesterday..everyone freesurfed tho,was lots of fun..
cool bay was on stand by for big air today,but didnt happen..good freesurf again..

rian said something about big air tommorrow and big wave on sat possibly..

Finally sufred padang padang as well as uluwatu.... padang was double overhead with 50 guys in the water and only got one wave without being dropped in on, but it was sick.. then paddled out at uluwatu 9-10 ft, got super dragged in the rip current down the point, and finally got 1 10 footer and just gunned it to get the hell out of there, eventually pulled out, got caught inside, lost my board and could not find it, and eventually had to walk 40 minutes back to the cave at the base of the cliff in the semi dark with no board, thrashed and bumed.... next day we paddled out at impoibles, but it was either super fast and unmakable as the name sugests, or else someone was droping in all the time... paddled back to padang, almost ready to give up, and ended up having one of the sickest sessions of my life. you just take off squeze every inch of speed out of the wave and end up either getting barreled of you nut, or getting utterly thwacked.... bodyboarders where dominating, I even saw some brazilian chick burn a surfer on a six footer.... crazy the mix of acents and nationalities in the water, as well as how heavy the waves are.

Off to G-Land day after tomorrow... but going exploring tomorrow...

Yo peter Watup!!!!

Indo is sounding SSSSSOOOOOO Sick and wish i was there. Are you getting some awsome footage and waves of coarse??
Ian collected the tripod from my mother yesterday and is all good.
Croatia is also so sick bt flat like a bath and very hot!!! Bt the babes are are uncontestible to babes in other parts of the world.

Hey All,

Yup, G-Land is the most insane please I have ever been to, and is probably got to be in the top 3 lefthanders in the world... got it double to tripple overhead for 3 days and over head all the other days... managed to aviod serious injury and to get some fat bombs... will definately come back there again, such a cool bunch of people.

Dane, enjoy croatia... good luck with the ladies, JP, Ror, Ian, Johnny, Daniel, etc... best of luck for Plett!!!!

off on the boat trip tomorrow to sambawa... see you all back in the water in sa in just over a week.
