So I found this pic last night and simply had to share it!

This was my very first board bought 2nd hand back in 1993

Never mind my Xtreme skating in the background or my kuk scared brother holding and praying all goes right, focus on the board, the heritage, the foundation hahaha!!!

Check the leg leash plug with a wrist leash attached

    photo_scan_small.jpg

Really wish I still had it, think my stepdad threw it away when he was clearing out the garage one day......

    Await comments!

Hahaa! No ways that's awesome, I had the EXACT same board as a grom, was also my first board, had a long rat-tail leg leash and didnt use fins for my first year sponging, will try dig up some photos.

That's awesome!!! If you picked that up in 1993, you must have been envious of some of the new imports by that time. Think I was riding a Challenger by '93 ...

@ Kelly: hahaha ja ur right bro, I think I actually got it in 92 cos I remember havin a Wave Warrior with a kind of surfboard swallow tail and fibreglass bottom after that, that was std 5 so was 93

Then came Rossi's first line of boards "POWER BODYBOARDS", brand new for R300!!!!

    That thing lasted me ages!

Only after that did I move onto the Challengers (dynalight and another kauai classic, cant remember the name but it was the one crispin hughes rode?)

Dang I wish I had a pic of every board I have owned...

Anyone seen the bodyboardmuseum site yet?

Amazing insight into the sport's history with CLASSIC pics and stories.
