im over summer already! for the last month it has blowen east for 5 days then 1 or 2 days of SW, not even west! we had a pretty good winter here in EL and the crapy winds of late just makes me wish it was cold and winter again! plus we get to look forward to an influx of vaalies over the next few weeks leading up to Christmas and New Years. but this does mean parties and ladies in bikinis.... :D still, reckon i prefer winter.

Pennington have permanent shoreys, just gotta find them, but usaully visable from the main beach. Also if a south west arrives, you can always come down to scottburgh, one of the best places to surf in a south west wind... Theres also a few gnarly reefs in Kelso area..(you might just recognize a few)

Really kiff area, the south coast. Also a good summer spot would be Lucien, just south of Margate Main beach (around 40mins drive from Pennington), as it handles east winds, which usually blow in summer..
