Good luck to Mark. I will be perfecting my skill of pretending to be deep at work while secretly watching the comp. If I get fired today he had better make the finals.

In the water at the moment we have a solid battle between Jeff Hubb abd Uri Valadao.

How does this Priority system they keep talking about work?

After having lead for 99.9% of the heat Mark got knocked in the last seconds.

Dave Hubb didn't do much for the first 3rd of the heat and then picked up a 8.67 score with a solid invert.

Going into the last minutes Dave had priority and needed a score of 5.50 to win, which he did with the last wave of the heat on which he notched up a score of 6.37(or something).

Tough luck Boetie.

Just finished watching an incredible heat between the legend, Mike Stewart and Ozzie big gun, Ben Player.

What a heat. big multiple barrels to roll combo's for Mike and big air revo's & barrels for Ben.

Mike took the win!

There have been some massive heats so far. Most of which could quite easily be finals!

Tomorrow will be the final day of competition in the Arica Chilean Challange 2009 and although there won't be a Saffa riding there is bound to be plenty of action worth watching.

To tune into the live action follow one of the video links in prior posts. Action should kick off at about 13:00(1pm) SA time.
