North Beach insanity...

Oh my word.... north beach, was going OFF today. Like solid 12 foot, dan redman and a bunch of stand ups were towing in like the whole day.... saw a few boogers out... i had my camera down there to try get some shots but the end of the pier was just covered with people. Would have loved to wait to get some shots but i just had to surf.... moved on down the beaches abit and surfed addington for a while at like solid 4-6.... was realy fun....

good to see Durban finaly producing again.

i couldnt decide man.... i realy wanted to surf....

The photos in that link, seriously dont do justice to how big, hollow and heavy it was.... i think those photos were from friday, saturday was at least double that..... IT WAS CRAZY

i dont understand.... these shots are of like all the smaller waves.... most of them were like double overhead..... it was crazy

haha wel i got sent home with my tail between my legs...BIG TIME! Was surfing new pier and kinda just timed my 2nd jump a little wrong...ended up getting caught by this demonic triple up thing that relieved me of my fin(fin saver my ass...just snapped it off clean). Came up just in time to see the big brother of the first wave towering above me. ended up loosing my board after my R220 leash snapped like tread. anyway to cut a long story short I ended up on the beach after about 6 or 7 sets drilled me to shore without my fin and board...was lank bummed. got my board after a saw a few guys riding foamies with it...sho!

BUT OMW IT WAS FUN can't wait for bigger swell to hit!!!

i was down on the Wednesday and snapped a couple shots off, but like its been said above, the pics dont really show how big it was..
