ive been a big supporter of rossi boards. got a custom from him 2 or three years back. told me it would take one week.... then he kept telling me its in the post.... 3 or 4 weeks later my baord arrives and his finishing on my tail made me bleak with a rail not ''stuck down'' properly.

anyway, 2 years later my mate asked what boards are in now cause he wants to start up again. anyway he decided to get a rossi custom. well its been over a month and still getting the same news... its nearly done or its done just havnt had time to send it etc (when he was told 2 weeks max!!!!). his annual leave ends today and he still hasnt got wet.....

whats up rossi? if it takes a month tell us! stop saying its done and leaving us hang! my other mate, me and mate currently getting rossi have decided no more rossi's.... thats 3 customers who loved your boards gone bru...

Rossi's job can't be easy but service is service and if he ain't delivering I wouldn't blame you!

It's fresh to hear someone speaking out, criticism can only strengthen an industry as it lets suppliers know we won't stand for it!

    I Reckon local is lekker!!

Ive always been a strong supporter of rossi bodyboards, and personally Ive never had a problem with him, ive had good strong boards that ride well and they have always been on time. Its all fair that you bummed id also be bleak!!
But big rossi is a good guy and I know hes hell busy and he does alot for the sport giving up time making boards (money) to head judge all the saba and ckznba events!

Freedom of speech is fair tho!
I still reckon local is lekker!! :D

iammonster, i agree with you- he delivers good boards. i love em. thats why i went back and even recomended him to mates and even on this site!

BUT now im airing my bad experiences cause like i said, if he would just tell us- his customers- thats he's busy and that he it would take an extra 2 weeks... then cool. not the bull he does feed us '' it was sent but i dont have a tracking number???'' what crap.

i posted this hoping he reads it and pull his act together cause i do enjoy his boards and i do like to support SA bodyboarding. like i said and will say again, just be honest bro!!

    cheers

Eish! Sounds crappy dude. I'm sure there's an explanation and hopefully Rossi will respond.

From my own experience, I had a delay with my ATD board when I ordered it some time back. I called Al and asked what the deal was and he was straight-up with me - they were running behind on the orders due to all the new orders that had come in during the sale. I was cool with that and told him that there was no rush (my old board was still in great condition). Not too long after that my new board arrived anyway 8) The point is that the suppliers cannot be up-to-date all the time on their orders, backlogs do occur and we can all appreciate that fact as long as it's within reason. They must just be honest and upfront with us and they will retain our business.

Yeah dood it can be kuk havin to wait for a new stick and I know how anxiouse one gets just sittin & waiting cos u just cant and ur itching sooperhard to surf it etc...
But u should also take into account that the guy's suppliers could also be letting him down & he could also be covering for them too.
Shapers have to wait for their cores, then when they eventually get there they gotta be sent away again to be cut to the right size & width etc...sometimes if need be.
Then it comes down to the production time and its not as quick as people tend to think man.
Then curing to check for any delamination too.
    It all takes time.
So if u put it all into perspective yes there are gonna be a few guys who get a lil dissapointed at some point in time of course.
Not to mention our country's postal service!
Thats an extra 5 days or so depending if the barcode scanner hav gone down again and u arent able to track ur parcel

I personally have never gotten any bull from the Big bear and he's always been straight up wit me.
But ja i agree fair is fair and if u believe u have been told a tale then u should voice ur opinion.
Constructive criticism is always good for everyone no matter who they r.

Lastly I DO believe that LOCAL IS LEKKER and that we as a community should support those who give back to the sport and Rossi has done that since 92 yo so he has my vote.

    Stay kiff.

I had 4 ATD's in one year
Thats pretty ridonk by most means but i was experimenting with shapes and the materials so thats pretty much why.
The cool thing is that it didnt really break my bank either.
Im still doin alot of experimenting but whats cool is that the guys hav eveyone's best interests at heart.
And thats something im willing to wait for.

We also hav to realise that SA is not the most proficient at alot of things and that the guys r just doin the best with wat they got.

AT told me in DEC that he's gonna do his utmost to sort out something special for the guys back home so we dont gotta pay all sorts of crazy monies for gettin a board all the way from Hawaii.
Hopefully him & F7 can work something out, that way we support both!
    Hope it goes well.

Julz, i think everyone can see u love ur boards

Nacho: I'm a little concerned right now. About... your salvation and stuff. How come you have not been baptized?
Esqueleto: Because I never got around to it ok? I dunno why you always have to be judging me because I only believe in Science.
