i was just wondering because i started riding when he won his 2nd title and i remember watching him in No Friends 4 riding to the track ''Where is my mind'' by the pixies. charging impossible waves and he became like my mentor or hero! (along with skipp, roach, mcbride, etc). he was my SA hero

Dude, you should look around and ask cats and find his autobiographical article in the Logic magazine...
His sponsors dropped him for riding other boards and he fell off the wagon big time....

Find it, read it, and hopefully everyone can learn from it...

Andre is a legend! Def one of the best bodyboarders out there, his family is awesome too He Charges Hard.
We all make mistakes in life, and its not good to gloat on other peoples misfortunes. Yes Anything in excess will always get you in trouble..
