Conviction for Crimes

  • October 2008
ha, was reading through this one report on how they are planning to tackle crime for the future of south africa. apparently only 19% of all crime commited actually gets convicted!

So the odds are pretty good of doing the crime without the time ;) anyone fancy stealing a car from bigbay or derdersteen, or maybe atleast if not break into it and get away for fun ...

mark we can start a SUSS for car parks, can work out how many cars are at a spot pertaining to the swell and weather conditions for the day. we can log in our efforts for the day and see where has the most cargaurds that we would need to aviod, or at least how much we'd need to pay them to 'not see anything' . .
hmmm everyone will see this tho.
    i'll email you!

    Hahahaha!

Maybe Rudi should join a crew with Rory in it and then he will know exactly when and where to go and drop in on him. While Rory is getting burnt in the water, Mark and Wade can break into the cars, take whichever stuff they need and then mission to the rest of the crews' pozzies and burgle them too cos they'll all be out.

you'd have to avoid beaches with car gaurds cause they would've already burgled the cars in their car park :!:

So much for fikkin "car guards"....I went to the "schmodel" gym in Gardens for the first time on Tuesday after work and guess what???? I went outside and both the small triangle window and the big passenger windows of my bakkie were smashed....freakin bastards. I must now pay the excess out of my new wettie fund......it's not right.

hahahah, hilarious! yup car gaurds seem to be there for the tip when nothing sweet to steal ;)

i used to have the same crap with the car gaurd in kalkbay, used to keep trying to break into your car or would....he'd still be there when you came back from the surf, but when you were surfing he would signal his chommies to come and have a go...

    suss plus summer = $$$

think we just need to be on the look out where ever we surf for other owes stuff and let them know we are looking out for each other.

I have new respect for the car gaurd at kbay, i know lank okes dont like him, but he is on it.

All the rich okes with their fancy 4x4's that surf the reef, leave their keys with him and tip him R20 for the effort, he doesnt hassel you if you dont pay him and is curtious to you when you pull in the next time.

A few weeks ago, Jp, Cameron and myself were chilling after a surf, the car gaurd notice some shady okes around this dudes bakkie and he confronted them, they tuned him it was their bakkie, he tuned them nooit it was a dude in the waters bakkie, so yes he is aware when you are out, but he isnt dodgy. The shady dudes (who were so obviously gangstas) got back in their stolen opel and pissed off. I called the cops and reported it and never heard from them again.

Dude whos bakkie it was came out of the water, i watched the gaurd, he never even tuned the oke, the surfer changed, got in his car and pissed off with out tipping the dude. So i gave the car gaurd a tenner for his efforts.

So ya... there are always 2 sides to a story.
We live in a 3rd world country governed by crime and criminals, be wize.

    Top Class Spy!

Dudes like you and the car guard are why I came back to this lovelly country.

And the tw@t who didn't tip the car guard wouldn't be out of place in southfields (SW19 home of the "when we's")!

Does anyone know the car guards name?

the dude wasnt a prick for not tipping the car guard, he was none the wiser, the point was the car gaurd did his job irrespective of weather he got tipped or not, most of the "poorer" surfers dont tip him, i know i never did. But he is always smiling, always humble, and he doesnt come up to after your surf and tune you.

I think he is from the Congo or something like that. Dont know his name

I think the gaurd mark is refering to came before this guy, and yes he was BUST breaking into surfers cars while they were in the water. Its a busy car park, always full of people and tourists.

I know a photographer who had his entire rig stolen, cameras, lenses, trippod.. all of it, dumbass made the mistake of thinking he could shoot for an hour or so and then surf. To this day, unless i have someone parking off in my car, i either shoot, or i surf, never do both, especially at kbay, cos honestly, you never know who is watching you and from where.

Spotted a lank dodgy oke the other day in one of the cobble roads above kbay, just scoping the car park, he sat there for hours. Ok looked like a tik kop, but then again he could have just been enjoying the view.

Ja Spy, you right dude. It was the old car guard that was the problem and yes he was bust stealing from a surfer's car. The oke was a right twat! The new dude is a legend and has the trust and respect of most of the regular crew. Lank okes leave their keys with him when they out surfing and the groms leave their bags with him. He's super chilled for a car guard and has a good friendly attitude. Let's hope that the swak elements in this country don't get to him, cos we need more okes like him around. I always try and tip him, it's well worth it - and besides wot's one less beer on a night out
