ok i have 2 sets of fins, a pair of hydros...

    and a pair of churchills

now basically my observation is that the churchills are super comfy, the hydros owned my feet the first few months of using them. The thing is for some reason the hydros feel faster....

im wondering if its because the churchills are so comfy that i hardly notice i have them on, and because the hydros you really feel they on, you feel every kick, so because of that they feel faster? could that be possible?

which out of the 2 would you ppl prefer to use for speed?

because right now im thinking my assumption that the hydros are faster, is purely because i just feel them on my feet more than i do the churchills so i think its faster when it might not be.

the hydros... why cos i hate those churchils, prefer the older churchils, but i hate those hydros too, prefer the newer ones, but not the tech2 cos those are disposable swim fins and the only disposble rubber things i like are condoms, use once, throw away!

    wow very interesting!!

i would have to lean towards churchills as i had a pair of those and loved them even though they are quite big and bulky....

BUT dude in the long run its not worth messing your feet up for a pair of fins with more power....rather kick harder in the water cause a lot of them are about the same strength its just comfort / style / weight etc...ja messing up your feet aint worth it...so either go for hydro and use fin socks or churchill and no fin socks or however you find them..

    good luck!

its a good point, if my feet get nailed i wont kick as hard cause eventually if im in a 2+ hour session the pain will make me not want to kick full steam...

guess its either power but short session, or comfort and long ones...ive grown used to the hydros now tho, use normal socks with them hahahaha just that initially they were very narrow and flat on the bridge of my foot, they stretched out now..i used to stuff newspaper in where my foot goes and leave it like that overnight to stretch them hahaha

    interesting...

    Hello my Son

Out of the 2 fins I would go churchill, forsure, for comfort and speed.

But ultimately if you are looking for speed for that edge during a heat, try Vipers.
