Brighton Wedge

ive just had a 2 hour sesh at the brighton wegde!! what fun!! i havnt surfed for like 2 months and this sesh had to go down as one of my funnest. it jacks up off a wall of a groyne and just goes!! even one or two short barrel sections! after one or two rolls and few spinners a crowed grew on the groyne taking photos and cheering!!! it was bananas!!

when i first got in a frenchman gave me tuning about dropping in and localism... i tuned him: ''no worries.'' shook his hand introduced myself and where im from. gave him waves- he gave me waves and before i knew it he was hooting when i was taking off!! thought id share this as people are always on about localism- give respect and you gain respect!!! he even tuned me to come again tomorrow.

all in all it was hectic. made new friends, had strangers and grannies taking pics all because bodyboarding is an awsome sport!!! keep the stoke brothers

Ha ha...StJohn...here we go again with the ********...lol

Stoked to hear you scored Lyle...there are some sick waves on Muddy Island...

I have to laugh - a Frenchman tuning a South African about localism at a spot in England  ...i would have been confused and pointed in the direction of France to inform him that he might have got caught it a nasty rip and pulled across the Channel...

    Cracks me up!

Still glad to hear that things worked out nicely and i hope you get some more bombies soon!

    Hey Lyle !
    it's the Frenchman here !!!!
Glad you enjoyed the wedge, it's been a while since we scored it tho.....
Should be a few more seshs, just keep checking the banks....

As you said earlier, mutual respect goes a long way.... Some of you may think that I got washed on the English shores after being caught in a nasty rip but you may be unaware that the rip's so strong, it's virtually impossible to paddle back unless you stuff your gob with garlic to deter the jellyfish as you drift across the channel !!! :P

If you want to see more pics of the wedge and around, check my site:

    Until next time.....

It might be...i never studied Zulu, but i wouldn't be surprised if it was their translation for Lemon Tree.

    Actually...

I was looking for a simple/basic username and chose the name because the word elementary can, amoung other things, be used to relate to the basic, essential or fundamental part of something.

    Complicated i know...

Other than that elementree is the name of a music production company started by Korn frontman Johnathan Davis in the late 90's...first band signed - Orgy, who did a great cover of Blue Monday, originally by New Order.

Anyway i just like the sound of it...Simply Complicated.
