Epic Swell In East London Yesterday

I got a few shots of Bonza Bay and Nahoon Yesterday before I got in, The swell was epic with a light offshore, and a nice SW groundswell at 16-17 sec period. the wind picked up later into the day, and blew it out abit though.

aaaah you goto love those breezy offshores and white sand beaches!

think capetown needs some serious beach cleanups from all the little and rubbish in the sand... how bad is derdersteen now?!

Little in the sand?...

Ya there is very little sand left at Derdesteen these days. Just broken booze bottles and used you-know-whats...it is so miff!

I think this beach clean up topic came up a while ago...

My question to the photo's is.....WHY THE HECK IS NO ONE OUT?...

Oh my soul...if that was Slaaptstad there would be 500 okes in the water!

EL is always empty during the week.. most you'll find at nahoon or bonzas is 3,4 oaks. most spots out of town are empty all week! crowds are no problem here gotta love it
