I'm lonely

    Howzit everybody

I have a rather simple dilemma. All my friends are standup surfers. Now, they're cool and all, and most of the time it's ok, but every now and then I find waves that I want to surf which are too shallow / heavy / scary for them. Quite often actually.

I'd really dig to hook up with one or two Cape Town boogers to charge with.

I'm twenty years old, and of average ability. I'm not afraid of big or heavy waves. I dig exploring.

I feel like a major kook doing this, but a man's desperate!

Anybody amped for another crew member - with a car - please let me know. Ahoy!

    Ahoy Kimon...

If you're ever gonna be out on the West Coast side...Melkbos area...send me a PM before hand and conditions permitting we can go score a surf together.

Otherwise...if you're amped to surf the Reserve sometime i can always let you know when we are on our way out that side.

    Schweet...

    Ahoy!

    Shot for the replies ous!

Gareth: That sounds sweet. I mainly surf the reserve, so it suits us both it seems.

Razor: Sorry bru, I live in Wynberg now. Only realized that my profile was in need of updating when you replied! Nonetheless I'm amped to surf Llandudno as it's where I grew up (well, not that amped anymore to be honest ... a bit over that wave!)

Koslov: I seldom head out that way, but if I do I'll send you a holler!

Ha ha - thats what you get for treating sixty40 like a dating agency. Respect!

dont need to, have a reserve card, just cant afford the petty...
sigh... i remeber back in the 90's when i was a waiter...sigh... those were the days, we would surf the reserve every day almost. No crowds heck you were lucky if you could find okes to surf with you and the gate fee was only like R15. UWP was a secret spot, SP was an uber secret spot, Dias wasnt spoken off, well until mike steward pulled in and charged it at like 8-10ft.

There were no worries, now its expensive, crowded and aggressive, heck even the baboons are more aggro.

I am glad there are still a few secrets left in the reserve, how long they will last, i dunno.

    anyways......
theres swell, i am off to the beach!

stop talking about the reserve like there's good waves there; everyone knows that it's a hoax anyway.
