    Kimmeridge reef.......1.5 hours from London, wakes up in big swell

    watch the NE coast, can throw down gems that make Cornwall look silly.

    I'm been thinking of a sneaky trip to Ireland in May.
    Any reccomendations from the ous that have been that side? Only area/spot I've heard of is Lahinch...

    yeah....watch the friggin weather, and if it looks non-ideal, DO NOT GO.......

    spent 9 months in Clare (province of lahinch).There is some amazing potential, but it is very dependant on the crap irish weather.When it is crap, it is crap.Full on.

    Crab Island (Doolin point) has a fun right, and there are some really good setups there (Bumbleoids is good for the boogie).There are some killer setups, very worthwhile just driving the coast to find your own once the swell is on. A boat or ski might be cool, there are some really distant outer reefs, i saw them breaking literally parallel to the shore the one day.

    Noth Ireland (Galway Donegal etc) has some good reefs as well, but I have never been there.

    tips;

    1)drink guiness
    2)Be prepared for sex-mad, veeeerrryyy drunk girls (seriously, my friend had wasted chicks literally falling on him as they stroked his chest on the dancefloor)
    3)Don't get in a fight, there are some potent little boxers there
    4)If it is HUUUUUGGGE.......check out Doonbeg castle
