Yeah Kelly gets bogged down by loads of work...

I don't understand the workings behind the screen so offer him your support and see what he says.

    Shot Mark!

P.S...where the heck did you and Lydia vanish too on Saturday?

Waves weren't too bad but the crowd is another story...i got 5 waves in 2 sessions!

Got back our side at hit up Derdes...we could have surfed all day less that 5kms from home!...doh!

i know dont you hate it when that happens! we were thinking the exact same thing. could have just gone down local, got some fun ones and no long mission...had a few fun ones at horse trails as banks been super good!

well least you got some football action with everyone kicking it at you! haha, you should have just kicked it into the bush then they would have to get it to kick it at you ;)

Apologies for the old banner adverts for PTP2. However, the Cape Classic banner, I should really have a pre-event and post-event banner because we shouldn't just be taking the banner down after the event. The hard graft is after the event to try make sure the media we generate gets out to as many eyeballs as possible.

As for who manages the site ... in the past it has been primarily me on my ace but in the last 6 months, Gareth White has joined to help with editorial content and has freed up some of my time to work on development. Recently I have been a bit buried in some new functionality for contest administrators so that they can input results and accept online entries.

At the moment it is a matter of you need to take time to make time and I am working on the functionality which is required to help make the site more manageable. Previously I've only had quite a complex and lengthy import process for results to avoid duplication and I have now developed the results admin module to allow contest administrators to do this job themselves.

What this also means is that I can work at getting as much of our contest results into our archive as possible by getting volunteers to input this data. I did work back through the Pipe contests and so far got as far back as 2002:

    http://www.sixty40.co.za/contest.php?id=269

One of the next things on my to-do list is to find some volunteers to help input some historic contest results - so if anyone is keen, just drop me an email or private message.

Im not one for all that scripting & programming jol but i know wat it entails, how long it can take and the sacrifices that need to be made to get the end results.Dont even get started on all the trial & error things!!!
This site is the shizzle and keeps alot of mense from doing otherwise frowned upon things in their spare time at werk.
Um things like facebook come to mind LOL!!!

Anyways shot for all ur effort cos i must say.....I'm a lil addicted heehee :P
