My son, "little buffalo", is "comin home" to CT and beyond in late May after an 18 year sabatical in North Carolina, USA. He is a booger-head and I am tryin to get him hooked up to go surfin while he is there. SpyDude says this is the place to get in the know about the surf spots, etc. He will probably be in Camps Bay for a few days then off to EL and Kruger Park. His mom will be draggin him to UCT and Rhodes for a look see. Any advice will be humbly accepted.

maybe try Plettenburg Bay for the Wedge. It's a drive but it's such a sick wave. Or even Landudno (Spelling, sorry)

    Hey Sambo...

Well if he's in Camps Bay and not able to travel too much...

Glen Beach in Camps Bay isn't too bad and further towards Hout Bay is Llandudno and Pebbles(near all the curio vendors on the side of the road), that both have great waves...

Llands is probably a little less dodgy...because there aren't many rocks in the water...where as Pebbles, depending on how much sand is in the water, can be a nightmare of rocks.

Otherwise...give me a call over the weekend if possible and i'll come surf with your son...maybe go on a mission.

    Have a safe trip home!

Yo dudes, what we need to do here is show this dude some true saffa hositality, Hook up with the brother, take him surfing, show him some spots, form some connections.

I remeber when Jauncho came here from Chile a few years ago, he was blown away by how open and giving us saffa boogers are, soon he was surfing in the WP trails and all the contests, he got to ride secret spots from Cape Town to Natal, he was partying with us and formed real friendships that will last a life time. Life is so much bigger than the shores of South Africa.

So i apeal to any of you brothers and sisters, that have the time (and the car) to show this "little buffelo" around when he is in CT and that goes for you East london brethren too. It sux when you land in a new town and dont know a soul.

    respect.
    aaaiiit.

    Spy
