i just recently got myself a new board probably about 7 months old now, and my father packed it with his dive gear and took it away with him thinking he'd use it for a bit of fun, well i have discovered to massive hand outstreetched sized bubbles right in the middle of each channel. what are some tips i can use to try and fix these or should i just pop them???

Sell your old man into slavery, and use the money to get a new board :-)

Let him do the gardening for the next two years and the dishes and he must wash your car for the next two years. he sounds like Daniel Worsley's dad.

    on a serious note....

the only way i can think of fixing it is, slice the bubbles open, push all air/water out. let it dry 100% then seal it with silicon or blob. silicon seems to last longer than blob, but both work really well.

so it's not going to matter that its in the channel? im just worried that when i empty out the air and flatten it back down it's not going to have the same groove! shit's me to tears really cause she was a lovely fast board and now my old OE Pirhana that i had for 13 years is faster

you probably wont have the same groove, but it should work better than having a bubble!!!

Erm... getting your cab fixed is good... letting your dad get away with a mashed board... not good. I've tried this - on 2 different boards. Bottom line... repairs don't last. He owes you a board! put tabassco in his regulator!
