Google is investigating you on suspicion of making random and pointless topics.
    Destroy your hard drive quick!

    Nah jokes.

Hahahah! Sounds like "Spy Bots". FYI although you might be alone on your computer and in your room, nothing is secretative about the sites you visit on the internet!!
Certain sites have it built into their software, to "spy" on you to see where you go! "Facebook" is being rumored as one of the absolute worst and their is an investigation going on after a guy was looking for an engagement ring for his fiance and emails(spam) went out to all his "friends" that he was looking at engaement rings at some particular site in an attempt to get other's to shop there as well--I'm not sure of the exact outcome. Anyway, nothing is "free" when you register eg. myspace, facebook etc. They come with a "price" whether it be "spy bots" following you around, etc. I think that explains why I have noticed well over 1,000 viewer's on the wavetheplanet.com website in the wee hours of the morning, 1:00 - 2:00am. when I can't sleep because of a prior afternoon nap. I honestly don't think there are that many people on the site at that time, however I think that it is "spybots". I am not familiar with how much info they can gather. I suppose different ones are created under or with different programs.

OHHH, another highly important fact! Don't ever sell a computer with the "hard drive" still in it!! REMOVE IT FIRST and hang onto it!! Even it the computer is not functioning! There are "readers" you can buy for only about $20.00 that plug into the USB port of your new, working computer. You can pop the hard drive into the reader from your old computer and refer to it on your present, functioning computer. Nothing lost!
Secondly, just because you hit the "delete" button on your computer, doesn't mean that it is gone forever!!

Good point, however, to make sure a sight is "secure" you want to check the URL to see if it starts with "https" and not just "http". If the "S" is NOT at the end, it is NOT a secure site and can still become infected through any pictures. Often times people's picture's are stored on various "free websites" or on their own, possibly "infected" computer that maybe "infected" unbeknown to them.
A sight with picture's are almost a sure attachment for spybots and they can follow you once you view a picture that is often infected with a spybot. That is why I presently have my emails set-up so that all emails with pictures(advertisements) do not load(they are X in a box). I have the option of opening the pictures is I trust it isn't infected.
You would also trust and assume that something as a picture or video that YOU took is YOUR'S for the using. Not the case, once you load it to a site! There is even ways of coying a picture when you are unable to right click on it! We put my daughter, Natalie's video on YouTube, early in 2006. It was the first Flowrider video on YouTube. Now it is visible on many, many sites! None of which we had anything to do with! We laugh as we have even found it in different languages. However, has proven to us that, the internet is a free for all! She also had a profile on Sponsorhouse. Now it too can be seen on several other sites--Monster Energy, Chasing the Dream, etc. Including one of her pictures I took of her riding at Hurricane Harbor in TEXAS, on the Australia Dreamworld Flowrider site, at the bottom of every page. I actually don't mind if it is assisting to promote the sport. We were just amazed at the extent of things being used
