Check out http://www.isolated.co.nz/ for a few shots. They had the Isolated Challenge a few years back which had some pretty sick, solid surf.

yeah its awesome here, some awesome breaks and they're never as crowded as SA beaches, a busy day for my local beach would be 200 ppl, thats in the middle of summer. and 50 ppl in the water would have to mean the best surf of the year!
