I would have thought the name Grom applies to how long you have been riding... I would agree - Jared ain't no Grom no more - Hey Jared - new division for you emorg - emo grom written backwards! peace homie - you can't be a grom when you tackle pounding bayview! respect!

OK! So if you don't reckon Jared is a grom then let's vote and try and find a real grom who is worthy of the award. There's not many days left so get voting.

And while we're on it ... what's up with voting for me in the Old School Legend category? Let alone leading the category. I don't really want to feature in this and was shocked that the first vote I got was not from my mom. But seriously, please try put a little effort in and let's find someone worthy this year. I may have tried to mix it up with a few of these guys at one point but there are those who are a class above and I'd like to see them recognised.

The one thing I will say is that I do recognise that a lot of the real legends have been lost in history unfortunately due to our poor media coverage of the sport in the past. This is one thing that I hope sixty40 will help prevent as it has always been an aim of mine to provide the site as an online archive. If anyone does have photos, videos or info on people they consider a legend then get in touch and I'll help put it up.

Talking about that, Im pretty sure old number 1 grom padroe is voting for himself!! Is that legal??
