Does anyone have any idea whats happening with regards to the Pipe Contest??? I have heard it's been pushed forward to February next year?????????????????????????

yeah rylin, heard it was getting cancelled due to beach permits couple weeks ago but spoke with rusty friesen 2days ago and he says it will be mid february!!

Too many people applying for event permits at Pipe. At least one stick contest did not get a permit. The bad part is that it won't be the last and normally deciding contest for the IBA world tour. Now it's gonna be the first.

well...if you look at this years swell on the 15th of February 2007..mabye it wont be such a bad idea having the contest in Feb!!
