Noooooooooooo, ahh we have the whole friggin peninsula, with so many better spots.. hoek, llandudno to name but 2.
I was part of the only province team ever to win the fishermans trophy, back in 91, and we used other spots like the Kom...still remains one of the best sessions i ever surfed, ask anyone who paddled out at Baby pipe that day, yes we used long beach too, but it was cooking.
The surfers used 365 a few years ago... and that was epic.
I know long beach is contest friendly, but why not push the "best" in SA in surf that counts. Its a week long. use it.

Damn straight. Thats why its SA's. The best bodyboarders in SA taking on, hopefully, the best waves we have to offer. Even if the juniors surf a more friendly wave, we need the pros to charge sick waves and improve our sports image.

yup!~ We being cape town bodyboarders have the best selection of waves and conditions in SA!! We should show the country that we the ones that never grovel over small waves and can get supa sick world class waves for a contest! Well, at least its going to be spring tides! and you know what that means--busting!! OOh, but will the other provinces know where to sit in the water?? mmm? I dont think so!!
