Riders for Kalk Bay Shootout!

hey all.

well, finally we have a list of definate riders for the Kalk Bay Shootout 2007! At the moment we have a total of 17 riders out of a possible 20!
SO THAT MEANS WE NEED 3 MORE RIDERS! We might open it up for the last 3 spots. So if you want in let us know why, best reason gets a spot!

I'm pretty sure I'm almost the oldest oke on the list (thanks to Pierre for snatching the lead there), and hopefully us ballies can show the rubberman lighties a thing or two...

Either that or we'll bore them to sleep in our heats with stories of how sick the reef used to get when it had no kelp and was covered in red bait and how before the internet 5 ous out was a crowd and when we caught the dawn patrol train to the beach without fearing for our lives and those days before ARS's were invented when rolls were still cool and that one time I got barreled all the way through to third reef and also when Spooner was actually a nice guy to have in the lineup... ok maybe not the last one so much but you get the point.

hahahha yes spooner used to be the best booger on the reef and none of the surfer gave him kuk cos he used do dish out bitch slap s to all of them. I think he was the first booger to seriously stand up against all the surfer kuk. But then he became a surfer himself and tge rest is history. Out of the water he is a top geeza. Genuine kinda bloke who sticks up for his mates.

End of the day spots like Kbay that have take off zones the sizes of manholes, you need a oke like spooner just to sort stuff out there. I know allot of people wont agree with me, but this past weekend was a prime example. Crowd was way too big. Utter maddness.

Hey I just rememberd annother rider that we have to have!

TARYN BROWN!!!!! the only girl in the lineup... she has totally been charging lately.... she has even been paddling out on the 6 foot days!

I heard a story that she got sucked over on a solid 7 footer head first, and that she came up bloody but grinning... She charges, and I think that she would be rad to have in the shootout!

What do you guys think?

So as things stand we have the final list of competitors.
BUT. WE ARE INTRODUCING A LIST OF RESERVE RIDERS THAT WILL BE THERE ON THE MORNING OF THE CONTEST. IF A "LISTED" RIDER FAILS TO SHOW, THE RESERVE RIDER WILL TAKE HIS PLACE. IT IS QUITE CERTAIN THAT RIDERS WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE THE DAY OF THE CONTEST SO THE RESERVE RIDERS WILL HAVE A GOOD CHANCE OF RIDING.

I want Taryn Brown to be first on that list..
