well, its about a year since our first "trial run" of the kalk bay shootout and things are heating up for a much bigger event this year!
The event organisers are making a invite list of riders that will be battling it out in the shark invested waters but want to encourage the sixty40 public to get involved and give us a list of riders that you think should be in the contest... bear in mind that the event is in Cape Town...
We looking for about 24 riders...
THE EVENT ORGANISERS WILL HAVE FINAL DECISION ON WHO THE FINAL CHOSEN RIDERS WILL BE!
The press release will be comming shortly.. just needing the list of names at the moment..

We still wanting a few more non-locals to appear...If you think you have what it takes to be one of the chosen..tell us why!
At the moment the Cape is getting battered by huge West swells which is not good for Kalk Bay and the swell doesnt look good for the first few days of August, so it looks like the waiting period will start abit into August and run into September..
