check here dude....im 12 and go to kalk bay a kuk load...i paddled out when it was six foot...and im still alive..the reef is not saw when u bail becoz its padden with kelp but sometimes u do hit the reef...but nuthing bad just a scratch. And if ther r other ppl in the water there is nuthing to worry about.
