The Tand Invitational 2014 riders have been selected and what a line-up it is!
Looking to claim the Tand Invitational 2014 and become the Tand Champion are:
- Tristan Roberts (Boland) - 2013 Tand Champion
- Rupert Le Grange (West Coast) - 2013 finalist and local hellman
- Andre-Hugo van Zyl (Boland) - 2013 finalist and silent killer
- Attie van Heerden (West Coast) - Local guru
- Mark McCarthy (Richards Bay, KZN) - International wave stalwart
- Johan ' Tjoekie' De Goede (Boland) - Boland legend
- Henk Esterhuysen (Boland) - all round waterman
- Iain Campbell (Durban, KZN) - Durban shredder and world tour campaigner
- Terence Pieters (Margate, KZN) - Southern KZN aerial expert
- Luke Kitchin (Western Province) - Grom Poll '14 winner and Llandudno local
- Dylan Le Roux (Boland) - Grom Poll '14 runner-up and Hermanus local
- Wilder Shultz (Western Province) - Maniac Bodyboarding Wildcard (link: http://maniacbodyboarding.com/), Melkbos local and charger at Tand.
Along with these 12 invitees, the 4 finalists of the David Lilienfeld Trials will advance through to the Tand Invitational main event to fight it out to be the 2014 Tand Champion.
The David Lilienfeld Trials will be held on Saturday the 28th of June at a venue to be announced tomorrow, the 27
th June, on the Tand Invitational Facebook page (LINK:
www.facebook.com/TandInvitational).
Prize giving will be held along with the main event heat draw at Latitude 33 (LINK:
http://www.lat33.co.za/), situated at 165 Bree Street, Cape Town.
Latitude 33 have an awesome atmosphere and will be offering specials on the night. The evening's proceedings will start at approximately 6PM, so come and join us for an evening filled with burgers, drinks and bodyboarding.
