If you're tired of forking out heaps for your internet connection in SA and want to do something about it then go to
http://www.antitrust.co.za and sign the petition. At the moment there are 1400 odd signatures ... going since August it is not going to do any good with those few numbers so sign it and pass on.
Here in the UK, I pay £24/month (R250) for a 24 MB connection with no cap ... stupidly fast. SA can't really compare to the UK as there are not as many internet users in SA but that is a huge difference ... I think my brother pays about R600+ a month for a 384kb connecton with a 2GB cap.
