The first day of the main event kicked off in pumping 6-8ft El Gringo for the 2012 IBA Stealth Arica Chilean Challenge. Standouts of the day were Pierre Louis Costes, Amaury Lavernhe and local boys Alan Munoz and Danton Correa.
