Round three of the Drop Knee World Tour, rounded up a day of impressive wave riding. Local wildcard, Javier Cruzado, caught the highest scoring wave of the round, a 9.25, for coming out of a deep barrel and finishing the wave with an aerial.
Women's World Tour title contender, Brazilian Neymara Carvalho, won her round three heat, keeping her title hopes alive. Brazilian Karla Costa-Taylor, impressed the crowd, landing a heavy roll.
