The 2011 BodyboardBet Shark Island Challenge unfolded as one of Bodyboardings most memorable events. Powerful 2-3 meter pacific ocean swells detonated bone crushing lips onto the world famous Shark Island reef, as the worlds best bodyboarders risked life and limb to tackle this beast. Unfortunately only a handful of eyes got to witness this spectacle first hand, but with the ever-growing technological possibilities of today, the worlds first super-slow motion footage of an event like this can reach the masses.
